Radial Stacker

Project: Fabricate a radial stacker boom for a coal mine

Key Elements: Large structural assembly, constructability review, trial fit-up and staged delivery

Radial Stacker Steel Fabrication - DWW Engineering

Project Details

DWW Engineering fabricated a radial stacker boom for a coal mine in Central Queensland, delivering a large structural assembly designed to support efficient stockpiling and material handling operations.

Our team worked closely with the client throughout fabrication, using supplied drawings and regular project reviews to identify constructability issues before they affected the program. We fabricated, trial assembled and prepared the stacker boom for transport to site, helping the client maintain control over cost, quality and delivery.

The project required careful planning due to the size of the structure, limited access to lifting equipment, and the need to coordinate fabrication across a long assembly. DWW completed the work within the agreed program and budget.
