Metal Fabrication for GEARS Mining – Mill Reliner Handler
Scope of Work: Metal fabrication for a mill reliner handler
Key Elements: Telescoping arm components, high-stress parts and coordinated fit-up for mining operations
Project Details
DWW Engineering completed its 14th metal fabrication project for GEARS Mining, supplying components for a specialised mill reliner handler used during ball mill maintenance.
The scope included parts for the telescoping arm and several smaller, high-stress components that play an important role in the machine’s operation. These components required accurate fabrication, careful material selection and consistent quality control to support safe, reliable performance in demanding mining environments.
Our team worked closely with GEARS Mining throughout the project, maintaining clear communication and practical coordination from fabrication through to fit-up. This long-term partnership has helped deliver repeatable outcomes across multiple mill reliner handler projects.
