Project Details
DWW Engineering fabricated and installed steel lock gates for the Serenity Cove waterside housing estate on the Gold Coast. The lock gate system was designed to maintain water levels between a tide-affected river and the estate waterways, which meant fit-up and sealing tolerances were critical.
The project included multiple steel elements along with stainless steel components, specialist bushings and engineered rubber seals selected to suit the operating loads and corrosion conditions. We applied a protective surface coating system and completed installation on site, coordinating interfaces across the gate structure, drives and civil components.
