Greenwood Grove Cycle Bridge
Scope of Work: A 20 m x 2.5 m steel pedestrian bridge
Key Elements: Design, fabricate, coat and install (including abutments and water main provision)
Project Details
DWW Engineering delivered a full design and construct package for the Greenwood Grove project, supplying a 20 m x 2.5 m steel pedestrian bridge for a council park in Cooroy. Our scope covered design, fabrication, protective coating and on-site installation, including the design and construction of the concrete abutments for the bridge landings.
The bridge was RPEQ certified to AS4100 and AS5100 and based on DWW’s in-house Warren Truss experience. To suit the operating environment, the bridge was finished with a PSX700 coating system, selected for harsh conditions and anti-graffiti performance. Provision was also incorporated for a water main to be mounted along the side of the bridge to cross the creek.
