Project: 27M Span Cycle Bridge
Key Elements: Design and fabricate a bridge to span a 27m wide creek bed, suitable for pedestrian and cycle traffic
The Bridge was a typical steel Warren truss design, with timber decking and bolted balustrading panels. The bridge was a painted finish with the balustrades and handrail hot dip galvanised. DWW also supplied the designs for the abutments that were used to support the bridge and carried out the installation at site
- Design and RPEQ certify a 27×2.5m cycle bridge including abutment designs
- Create detailed fabrication workshop drawings
- Protective coat the steelwork in a combination of HDG and anti-graffiti paint systems
- Delivery to site and crane into position
