Project Details
DWW Engineering designed and fabricated steel gantries for Brisbane Metro’s electric bus charging infrastructure. Engaged by Hitachi, our team delivered the overhead gantry structures used to support charging equipment at end-of-route locations.
DWW managed the complete fabrication process in-house, including design, drafting, manufacture, trial assembly and delivery. By coordinating each stage through one team, we reduced handovers, checked fit-up before dispatch and supplied the structures ready for installation.
The charging gantries form part of Brisbane’s new electric public transport network, supporting rapid bus charging and frequent Metro services.
