Brassal Bikeway Cycle Bridges Fabrication

Scope of Work: Completion of shop fabrication drawings, manufacture and pre-assembly and delivery to site complete ready for install

Project Details

DWW Engineering delivered steel bridge fabrication for three identical cycle bridges for the Brassal Bikeway. Each bridge measured 25 m long by 3.5 m wide and used a fully bolted, galvanised truss designed to support pre-cast concrete panel flooring.

We completed shop fabrication drawings, manufactured the bridge steelwork, and pre-assembled each bridge at our Darra facility before transport. The client lifted the bridges straight into position, landing each one onto pre-installed anchors for efficient installation.
