Rookwood and Holroyd Substation

Scope of Work: Electrical support steelwork for Rookwood and Holroyd substations

Key Elements: Tubular A-frame gantries, welded node connections, workshop pre-assembly, galvanising and delivery to NSW

Electrical support steelwork - DWW Enginering

Project Details

DWW Engineering fabricated and delivered electrical support steelwork for the Rookwood and Holroyd substations in New South Wales. The package included large tubular A-frame landing gantries and associated steel structures manufactured to Transgrid specifications.

The gantries incorporated intricate welded node connections, requiring controlled fabrication and accurate alignment throughout production. Our team pre-assembled the structures in the workshop to verify dimensions, connections and tolerances before hot dip galvanising and delivery to New South Wales for client installation.
