Non-Destructive Testing Methods

  • Dye Penetrant Testing: This method involves applying a dye to the surface of the weld. After a short period, the excess dye is removed, and a developer is applied. The developer draws out any dye trapped in surface cracks, making even minute imperfections visible
  • Ultrasonic Testing: This method uses high-frequency sound waves to detect internal flaws or inconsistencies within the steel. Ultrasonic waves are passed through the material, and any disruptions in the wave pattern indicate potential defects.
